Deol’s third generation’s report card is on the board as Karan Deol’s debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is released today. The film is below average if we check it for Kran Deol’s debut performance, Sunny Deol’s direction and screenplay of the film. There is of course newness in the script but weak screenplay and direction make it even weaker.
Plus Points:
- Scenic beauty in the first half and the whole first part is shot in Manali & Leh-ladakh
- Title Track, the only romantic and awesome part of the film
- Sahher Bammba as debut performer steals the show
Minus Points:
- Karan Deol’s weak acting in romantic and emotional sequences
- Sunny Deol’s weak direction and screenplay
- Half baked climax
Plot:
Karan Sehgal is a adventure tour guide and organize highly expensive adventure trip but guarantees for India’s best adventure trip. Sahher Sethi is Vlogger in a company and does reviews on social media for a comapny. She goes to review Karan’s highly expensive adventure trip. But ends up it with the best trip of her life and fallen in love with Karan. Now she left Manali and they both realize they love each other. Now Karan comes to Delhi but Sahher’s Ex-boyfriend Viren Naarang doesn’t want her to leave him. He feels jeaouls of Karan and use his political power to make them both apart.
Things get very complicated when Sahher gets a severe head injury and goes into the coma. What happens to Sahher and between Karan and Viren get uncovered into the climax.
Screenplay:
Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas film is clearly divided into two parts Himachal’s one which is shown in the first half and Delhi’s one shown in the second half. Screenplay is simple but your interest breaks at many points specially in the second half. Climax is clearly half baked and feels like edited in hurry or pressure.
Performances:
Karan Deol as debut performer doesn’t shine in romantic and emotional scenes but looks fine in action ones.It would be wrong if we say Karan Deol’s performance is the weakest among all.
Sahher Bambba looks very promising as her debut performance. She goes perfect in each frame.
Rest of the supporting cast is really fine with their job.
Direction: Sunny Deol’s direction seems below average as there are many weak moments also half baked climax of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.
Music: A romantic film of a debut couple needs a solid hit music which Pal Pal Dil ke Paas falls short of but title track is soul of the film.
The Last Word: Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is velow average love story but it also its few moments. You can skip it in the theaters and wait for its streaming on the television or streaming site.
