Uri – The Surgical Strike Movie Review: This Vicky Kaushal starrer makes you feel emotional and proud.

Bollywood Movie Review

Almost three years back, in Sept 2016, Indian Army executed a Surgical Strike in Pakistan and the film is all about that incident. What was the reason behind that Surgical Strike and how that got happened is shown in Uri – The Surgical Strike.

The execution of the idea is commendable as it was a critical matter but director Aditya Dhar has made it large.

Screenplay: Aditya Dhar’s screenplay is engaging enough throughout the movie. First half makes you emotional by developing the characters in right manners. While second half makes you feel proud for your nation.

Vicky Kaushal is the superfine actor and he has shown his talent as Major Vihaan Shergill in Uri as well.

Yami Gautam and Kirti Kulhari have extended cameos and both lend sensible support.

Paresh Rawal has larger screen time but seems weaker than others not due to their acting but due to their character’s personality.

Mohit Raina as debutant is as good as Vicky Kaushal.

Other supporting cast as Shishir Sharma, Rajit Kapoor, Yogesh Soman etc are fine with their jobs.

Aditya Dhar as debutant director has stolen the show as he is damn good with his job.

Background score is nice along with Chhalla song, which boosts you to support your country.

Final Verdict:

Uri – The Surgical Strike is a good watch but don’t expect something beyond the boundaries.

Uri Trailer Reaction: Powerful Background score, Music and of course Vicky Kaushal Makes Uri even more impacting
