Bhoot – Part 1: The Haunted Ship Movie Review: Nice story but weak direction (especially in second half) made the Sea-Bird (ship) sink.

Bollywood Movie Review

Plus Points:

  • Nice and unheard story
  • Few scary moments are really life taking
  • Length of the film

Minus Points:

  • Weak direction
  • Elongated screenplay
  • Orthodox scary scenes

Love Aaj Kal Movie Review: Imtiaz Ali knows the romantic pulse of each generation, good attempt but lacks unlike older one.

Plot: Prithavi (Vicky Kaushal), who has lost his wife (Bhumi Pednekar) and daughter in a river rafting. But he always day-dreaming of them with a scary and lovely feel. On the other an unknown ship (Sea-Bird) comes to the Juhu Coast of Mumbai. Prithavi is an investigation officer so he gets appointed on Sea-Bird. The ship is already famous for its haunted activities. Prithavi, who is already suffering from some mental illness feels some unordinary things on Sea-bird. But he connects that with his mental illness and talk to no-one about it. After visiting the ship many times he feels there is something still alive in the ship and start investigation. He gets some documents and a camera carrying some videos of crew member and a 3 years old girl Meera.

Now there is a messy story behind Meera who is still alive in the ship and possessed by an evil spirit. Prithavi gets connected with Meera and wants to save her. What is the story behind Meera, Prithavi’s family and does he saves Meera… are the questions, story revolves around.

Malang Movie Review: Mohit Suri is the real hero in his the best work till date, perfect action-romantic-thriller film.

Screenplay: Screenplay is good but makes you feel bored of even this small 1.57 hours story

Performances:

Vicky Kaushai as Prithavi gives few solid fearful expressions but his character is not that impacting.

Bhumi Pednekar as Prithavi’s wife just has a cameo and there is nothing to talk about her

Ashutosh Rana as principal Joshi has the same role of him as Raaz and played it the same way.

Direction: Bhanu Pratap Singh failed to impress the audience in his debut project.

The Last Word: Jus go without much expectations of a horror film.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Trailer Reaction: Another super-hit cum unique concept by Ayushmann Khurrana is on the way.
