Janhvi Kapoor is also bringing the biopic of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena. So it would be interesting to see both of these women centric movies based on IAF. Coming back to ‘Tejas’, Sarvesh Mewara is writer & director of the film and stepping into the Bollywood with this film. Ronnie Screwvala says “We made an army-based film with Uri: The Surgical Strike. Tejas is our dedication to the brave fighter pilots of Indian Air Force, who always put the country first.” He also added “We are excited and honored to share this brave story with viewers and hope it inspires many more women to join the Air Force.”
Kangana Ranaut, who is going to do this title role in Tejas stats “Very often, the sacrifices made by our brave women in uniform go unnoticed by the nation. Tejas is a film where I have the honor of playing the role of once such Air Force pilot who puts country before self. I Hope we instill a sense of patriotism and pride in the youth of today with this movie. I’m looking forward to the journey with Sarvesh and Ronnue on this one.”
Tejas shooting will be started this July and film will hit the screens next year in April. Stay tuned for such latest Bollywood/Pollywood updates.
